Blog is not longer available. Apa sebab?

IWB alias Iwan Banaran sebagai blogger papan atas yang memiliki traffic tinggi, sejak tadi pagi galau pasalnya halaman blognya tidak bisa diakses oleh pembaca setianya. Situs andalan bagi kalangan otomotif roda dua yang sedang melejit dengan cepat ini, mendadak sepanjang hari ini tidak bisa dibuka, bahkan pihak server memberikan teks ini: iwanbanaran.wordpress.com is no longer available.

Apa sebabnya  ya? SL sebagai seorang teman pun ikut prihatin, bahkan tadi siang sempat BBM-an dengan IWB sekedar mencoba membantu dan mencari masalahnya. Kejadian ini benar-benar sangat tidak enak bagi IWB, nyesek banget rasanya. Apalagi disana ada sejumlah pemasang iklan, duh gimana ya konraknya?

Blog Suspended begitulah istilah dalam dunia blogger, atau blognya ditangguhkan/ditahan oleh penyedia layanan dalam hal ini adalah wordpress.com sebagai rumah tempat penyimpanan data. Kabarnya wordpress.com ini disukai oleh banyak kalangan blogger termasuk SL sendiri adalah salah satu pengguna setia layanan WP ini sejak tahun 2008.

Mungkin ada yang bertanya, kan IWB sudah punya domain sendiri dengan namanya sendiri iwanbanaran.com? Bukan itu masalahnya. Ya.. IWB memang benar punya domain sendiri, tapi dia belum memaksimalkan domainnya hingga berani membayar sewa HOSTING (sewa server berbayar, bukan gratisan). IWB dengan domainnya Rp. 100 ribuan per tahun sementara ini masih dipakai hanya sekedar untuk ‘menutupi’ kata wordpress-nya.

Bagi banyak blogger papan atas atau blog yang trafficnya tinggi, rasanya kurang enak dengan selipan wordpress di domainnya. Kalau masih pakai kata “blablabla.wordpress.com” agak mengganggu karena dia sebenarnya masih disebut sebagai blogger gratisan. Betul nggak tuh bro.. Ya betul sekali.. kan layanan wordpress.com memang 100% gratis. Jadi kenapa harus repot-repot lagi pindah server atau HOSTING menyewa server sendiri mumpung masih ada yang gratisan. Hehehe.. disinilah masalahnya, yang namanya gratisan sih boleh-boleh saja.. tapi usernya sering lupa bahkan suka kebabalasan, dikasih gratis malah lupa dengan perjanjian awal.

Blog Supended masalahnya karena blogger breach of warranty (melanggar perjanjian), silahkan disimak teks dibawah ini yang bersumber dari sini:

Nah.. yang jadi pertanyaan, IWB telah memuat berita apa sih? Pasang Iklan apa? Bikin link URL apa? Artikel IWB apa menggangu server kah? Hal ini yang paling susah dijawab karena yang paling tau adalah pihak WP dan IWB sendiri. Membaca Terms Of Service WordPress pada point 2 hampir dipastikan IWB melanggar salah satu itemnya. Tapi yang mana? Menurut SL sebatas dalam perkiraan pribadi, mungkin ada iklan atau teks yang ada di blog IWB diangggap WP telah mengganggu, yang pasti ada pelanggaran disana. Atau bisa juga ada sebuah komentar (titip jemuran) yang memberi link porno, e-commerce, atau judi. Hmm..

Mari sejenak membaca bagian ini yang dikutip dari Terms of Service WP:

Responsibility of Contributors.If you operate a blog, comment on a blog, post material to the Website, post links on the Website, or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the Website (any such material, “Content”), You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. That is the case regardless of whether the Content in question constitutes text, graphics, an audio file, or computer software. By making Content available, you represent and warrant that:

Well.. satu-satu jalan bagi IWB, ia harus segera menghubungi pihak WP minta kelonggaran untuk segera mendapatkan status re-activated. Jika WP sudah membuka kembali blog IWB maka saran untuk IWB agar ia segera mengecek kembali komentar-komentar, iklan/teks yang dikasih link URL, kalau perlu merefresh ulang semua iklan, komentar sampai status benar-benar aman. Karena WP tidak main-main soal pelanggaran Terms of Service-nya. mereka selalu menghitung setiap kali ada pelanggaran. Sekali-dua kali dan ketiga kali tidak ada ampun maka blog gratisan bisa ditutup selama-lamanya, Kabar baiknya data base masih tersimpan di server WP dan ini tidak dihabus sampai pemilik blog memindahkan data ke jasa layanan HOSTING berbayar.

Nah ini dia.. soal HOSTING berbayar sebenarnya ini solusinya. Sebagai langkah “paling aman” buat para blogger yang ingin terjun di kancah profesional blogger tidak sekedar hobi tapi menuju profesional. Setidaknya blogger pro bersedia mau membayar sewa hosting. Ya.. namanya juga hobi kan harus punya modal juga bro. Hobi mancing aja harus bayar sewa kolam.. apalagi kalau mau mancing di laut, setidaknya harus bisa sewa kapal boat.. Mana ada yang gratisan mancing dilaut bro. Lihat aja peralatan yang dimiliki para pemancing kelas pro jelas sangat beda dengan kelas kolam.

Sampai disini.. jadi kalau ada blogger yang pasang iklan harap ia dapat dimaklumi, karena diapun harus banyak mengeluarkan ongkos seperti membayar sewa hosting, bayar layanan internet, beli domain, renewal domain. renewal hosting, beli modem, beli notebook, beli hardisk, beli camera, beli gopro, dan banyak lagi tergantung besarnya ruang lingkup tulisan artikel si blogger tersebut. Bagi blogger yang suka moveable atau terus bergerak, maka iapun harus membutuhkan biaya yang lebih besar, seperti beli bensin, bayar tol, dan sebagainya. Jadi.. blogger pro Jangan disamain dengan blogger kandang ya.. hehehehe.. 🙂 Enak banget nyindirnya.
